It produces an austenitic manganese deposit that will work harden in service. Typical applications include dragline pins, dipper teeth, crusher screens/rolls, chain hooks, hammers and bucket teeth. It can be welded in all positions (except vertical down) with unlimited layers (with proper preheat, interpass temperatures and procedures)
