Wire feed cleaning and lubricating pads wrap around the MIG welding wire between the spool and the MIG gun entry point. They remove dirt and corrosion from the wire before it enters the gun, which reduces wear on the gun's contact tips and liners and helps prevent nozzle clogs. Wire feed lubricant can be used to re-treat the pads to lubricate the wire and help keep it from locking up or bindng as it moves through the gun liner. Not recommended for use with aluminum MIG welding wire.

  • Wire feed pads can decrease the coefficient of friction in the liner as much as 50%
  • Reduces erratic feed and burn back
  • Great to use with mild steel, carbon steel or stainless steel welding wires - NOT recommended for use with aluminum welding wires
  • Pads may be re-treated with wire feed pad lubricant (Weldmark WM502)
